The Camino takes you along the coast to Soutoxuste. Now you are following the traditional Camino Portugues. Passing Caldas de Reis, you can recover in one of its famous thermal springs before walking to Padrón. This is the city where the body of St. James is said to have arrived in a ship made of stone. Don't forget to try the famous Spanish peppers Pimientos de Padrón.
The Camino now leads through many vineyards, mostly producing Albariño, one of Spain's most famous white wines. Once in Santiago, it’s time to explore its stunning old town, pick up your Compostela, and reflect on those beautiful days on the Camino Portugues.
