Already in medieval times, many pilgrims walked to Cape Fisterra after reaching Santiago. They wanted to see the sea and, what was then believed to be, the end of the world. On this tour you follow their steps.
The Camino Fisterra leads you over green plateaus and along the rough coast of the Atlanctic Ocean. The sea has created a wild and fertile land for you to cross, until the famous lighthouse of Finesterre marks the end of the road. The mystical coastline here was already held sacred by the Celts, who performed various animist rituals here.

It is a tradition among pilgrims, to watch the sun sink into the sea from one of the boulders around the lighthouse. Please let us know if you wish to spend a second night in Fisterra in order to explore the city.
