At this stage the Camino del Norte leaves the coast and bends inland where a landscape of hamlets, forests and wide grasslands awaits you. One highlight of this section is the episcopal city of Mondoñedo. Its narrow medieval alleys and beautiful squares make it one of the most picturesque towns in Galicia.
You will then carry on through the countryside to Baamonde, the destination of this stage. From here, you can continue with our Tour 6 to Santiago de Compostela.
